Aunt Ne asked Ashley to be her flower girl in her Easter wedding. For several weeks we read the book Lilly’s Big Day to help prepare her. Ashley started calling it Ashley’s Big Day! We had no idea if Ashley would make it down the aisle. The morning of the wedding we practiced several times walking from the house all the way to the other side of the yard. When the moment came Ashley started walking! We were all very excited. Then she had to stop to let every one know there was mud on the ground. Once she started going she picked up some of the flower petals but didn’t like the way they looked and she said they were ugly. After that she named each color of the petal as she dropped it on the ground. When she made it down to where the guests where sitting she said, “Where’s my Mommy?” She did great for Ashley’s Big Day!
