Addie is growing so tall! She keeps growing up, up, up! She's almost too tall for her highchair. And she loves to act like she is all grown up like Ashley. If Ashley can do it, so can Addie. This month has been all about getting into our new daily routine. Everybody is now back to school and work.   For the most part, Addie is really good about going along with what Ashley wants to play and they have some really fun times together, even hiding under the table so Mommy can’t find them!

Our neighbors behind us have two very large dogs. When we are outside Addie is fine until the dogs come out. She doesn't even like to hear them bark when she's on the opposite side of the yard. Addie is very excited Daddy put the play set together. We have had a few days with temperatures less than 100 degrees and Addie has fully enjoyed her swing and slide. Addie had a good time helping Mommy wash windows. Those windows are now supper clean! If Mommy or Daddy step outside for just a moment, Addie right there with them. And every night before she goes to bed she likes to look out her window to say goodnight to the sun, see her play set, and watch for the dogs.

One of Addie's biggest highlights this month was getting her very own bumblebee backpack. She is very proud of her backpack. It came in the mail one afternoon and she pretty much wore it all the time around the house for the next week. And every morning the fastest way to get Addie in the car is to tell her the bee is already in the car. She takes off running. She loves her bee!

School is back and Addie's on a roll! Overall, Addie's doing well in school, but in a new environment she is really testing the boundaries! For a while, every time we picked her up her teacher said Addie wouldn't keep her shoes on her feet. This was strange to hear because she always wants her shoes on when she's at home. This little girl loves shoes. After we went shopping for new school shoes her teacher said it got worse. Now that Addie's adjusting to her new school environment she's not taking her shoes off near as often. She's now moved on to taking her bows out of her hair. Every morning she sees Mommy fixing Ashley's hair and she is insistent that she not leave the house unless there is something in her hair. Her teacher will give us an update as to how long it stays in her hair. The longest she has made it has been until nap time. On a good note Addie seems to be enjoying herself at school. She's been taking nice long naps in the afternoons. And with a couple of days of cooler weather has really enjoyed the outdoor play area with bikes and a road. She loves that!
