Wow, Addie's 18 months old! Time goes by so fast. She weighs 28.13 pounds and is 33.5 inches. Looks like Addie's going to grow up to be a tall girl. This month she also had a couple of sleepless nights due to her upper molars coming through. And we know the bottom molars are on their way, too.

It took a while for Addie to get over her sick tummy. Just in time to get a really bad cold. We were very thankful it wasn't strep throat or the flu, but just a cold. Through all the illnesses Addie continued to be a real trooper! We are happy she's feeling much better these days.

Addie celebrated Thanksgiving in Houston at Mimi & Willy's house with her cousins. She had a ball running around trying to keep up with the big kids. Where ever they were she was right there with them. She had new toys to play with while the big kids decorated a gingerbread house, but wanted nothing to do with them because she knew what they were doing. Henry, Emma, and Ashley kept Addie well feed with candy that night!

Addie completed her Water Babies 2 class. Words cannot describe seeing her happy face as she would move underwater. Then she would pop up out of the water with the biggest belly laugh. We will take a short break from swimming during the holidays, but will be back in full swing at the beginning of January.

We are getting ready for Christmas! We went to visit Santa Claus and as soon as Addie sat on his lap she started screaming! She wanted nothing to do with him. Another day we had Breakfast with Santa with some friends. Again, when it was Addie's turn to sit on his lap she waited a second and then started screaming. Dear Santa, Please don't take my crying personally every time I sit on your lap and cry. I'm just not used to your long white beard and big belly. Love, Addie. Addie is great at spotting Artie, our Elf on the Shelf. She is usually the first to find him in the morning and starts yelling, pointing, and jumping up and down. We are really looking forward to Christmas!

Right now her favorite book is Good Night, Moon. Her favorite toy is her Baby Huggums. And, whenever she hears any music at all she starts dancing. One afternoon we were watching football when the Geico commercial with the pig in the car came on the TV. All the sudden Addie stopped in her tracks and started saying "Wee! Wee! Wee!" like the pig. We played the commercial 3 times in a row for her because it was so funny!
